How to Avoid Feeling Alone

image292219078.jpgOne of the toughest parts about being an Expat is feeling alone. This feeling is normally increased if you’re a single Expat. What may happen is that you get comfortable staying home, emailing and calling your friends and then you lose interest in going outside.

If you find yourself in this spot, get up, get dressed, and go outside.

Instantly, you will be surrounded by other people. It’s harder to feel alone when there are other human beings around you.

Walking in nature is another excellent way to connect with the outdoors.

After you do this, it may become more feasible for you to step out and volunteer or join a club, like a running club or personal interest club.

The more effort you make to connect with the people and places around you, the less likely you are to feel alone.
